Geraghty Wins Pole Vault At Drake Relays

Geraghty cleared 18'0.50" to win the event as he entered the weekend ranked third in the nation in the pole vault. It marked the third straight event over the last seven days that Geraghty has passed the 18' barrier. Teammate Mick Viken, a former Drake Relays champion, was seventh clearing 16'10.75".
Jalisa Paramore was the lone EIU women's competitor at the Drake Relays competing in two events. She placed 15th in the 100 hurdles with a time of 13.87. Less than 30 minutes later she competed in the long jump placing 14th with a mark of 18'7".
Daniel Trevor placed 22nd in the men's 110m hurdles with a time of 14.78.
David Johansson placed 13th in the men's javelin with a distance of 186'.
The men's 4x100m relay placed 10th with a time of 40.47. The relay team consisted of Christian Ilunga-Matthiesen, Calvin Edwards, Jamal Robinson and Kaleel Johnson.
