Riebold Places 3rd At National Championships

EUGENE, Ore. - Eastern Illinois junior pole vaulter Jade Riebold placed third at the NCAA Outdoor Track National Championships competing on Friday night at Oregon's Hayward Field.

Riebold followed up her second place finish at this year's NCAA Indoor National Championships giving her two podium finishes this season.

Riebold cleared 14'5.25, a career best, as she placed third behind Kansas Natalia Bartnovskaya based on number of attempts.  Bethany Buell of South Dakota was the national champion clearing 14'7.25".  Riebold placed 20th in the pole vault at last year's outdoor championships.
