Boey 15th At NCAA National Championships
Friday, March 9 2012 - NCAA Championships (Indoor)NAMPA, Idaho - Senior Zye Boey concluded his indoor track and field career at Eastern Illinois on Friday evening by placing 15th in the 200m at the NCAA Indoor National Championships hosted by Boise State University.
Boey ran a time of 21.32 in the event as he advanced to the NCAA Indoor National Championships three times in his EIU career in the 200m dash. Boey's best finish came last season when he placed 7th, earning first team All-America honors. Boey holds the EIU indoor record in both the 60m and 200m dash.
EIU's Jade Riebold will compete in the women's pole vault on Saturday evening bringing the Panthers indoor track and field season to a close.
