Women's Cross Country Heads To Wisconsin

CHARLESTON, Ill. – Eastern Illinois women’s cross country will return to action this weekend as the Panthers send two team entries to the Lucian Rosa Invite hosted by UW Parkside in Kenosha, Wis. The EIU men will not compete this weekend as they prepare for next weekend’s Evansville Invite.
The Lucian Rosa will be comprised of two different races, one at the 4k distance and the other at the 5k distance. The Panthers will face competition from Marquette and DePaul along with defending 5K team champion Ferris State.
The women’s roster for the 4k race is expected to be comprised ofElizabeth Dole, Erika Foltys, Gena Nance, Caitlin Napoleoni, Stephanie Peisker, Erika Ramos and Britney Whitehead. That race is slated for a 10:30 a.m. start.
The women’ roster for the 5k race is expected to be comprised ofBrittany Arthur, Danielle Dickman, Gabriela Duenas, Breanna Bergbower, Olivia Klaus, Erin O’Grady and Martha Pedziwiatr. That event is set for a 11:30 a.m. start.
