Viken Named OVC Field Athlete Of The Week

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Eastern Illinois junior pole vaulter Mick Viken has been selected as the Ohio Valley Conference Male Field Athlete of the Week after his first place finish at the Miami Invite last weekend.  Viken cleared 17'0.75” to win the event.  He is currently ranked 43rd in the NCAA in the pole vault this season.  EIU returns to action this Saturday at the Western Kentucky Hilltopper Relays.
