Panthers Post Career Top Ten Times At Maimi

OXFORD, Ohio - Three Eastern Illinois track and field athletes posted marks in the Panthers career top ten as EIU opened action on Friday afternoon at the Miami (Ohio) Invitational.  Competition continues Saturday at 9 a.m.

Condia Smith placed fifth in the women's hammer throw with a toss of 158'01".  Smith's throw ranks fourth on the EIU career list.

Elizabeth Dole placed fifth in the women's 10K with a time of 38:28.04.  Dole's time ranks eighth on the EIU career list.

Jared Diaz had the highest EIU finish of the day placing third in the men's hammer throw.  Diaz had a mark of 177' which ranks ninth on the EIU career list.  David Johansson was sixth with a throw of 170'1".

Pablo Ramirez was fifth in the men's 5K with a time of 14:51.99.
