Boey 26th At US Olympic Trials In 100m

EUGENE, Ore. - Eastern Illinois sprinter Zye Boey placed 26th on Satuday evening in the 100m dash as he competed in the United States Track and Field Olympic Trials hosted by the University of Oregon.
Boey ran a time of 10.45 as he placed seventh in his heat and 26th overall. Boey will compete in the 200m at the Olympic Trials later this week.
The best two times in the 100m prelims were turned in by Justin Gatlin at a sub-10.0 and Tyson Gay at 10.0.
The top athletes at the US Olympic Trials will represent Team USA at the London Summer Games in August.
