Yeoman Co-OVC Track Athlete Of The Week

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Eastern Illinois senior middle distance runner Amy Yeoman has been named the co-Ohio Valley Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week. Yeoman earned the award following her first place performance in the 800-meter run at the Illini Classic last weekend.
Yeoman won the 800-meter run at the Illini Classic as she set a new personal record with her time of 2:14.63. The time is the eighth fastest in Eastern Illinois history and is currently the fastest time in the OVC this season. The award is the first for Yeoman in her career.
Amber Hughes of Tennessee State and Na'Asha Robinson of Tennessee Tech were the other females named as the co-Track Athlete of the Week.
The Panthers return to action this weekend hosting the John Craft Invite this Friday and Saturday in the Lantz Fieldhouse.
