EASTERN: Chandra is a junior hurdler... first team All-OVC Indoor selection with first place finish in the 60m hurdles... set personal record of 8.76 which ranks 5th on EIU career list... mark of 25.83 in 200m dash ranks 8th on EIU career list... earned first team and second team honors at OVC Outdoor Championships in the 100m and 400m hurdles... time of 14.11 in 100m hurdles set at Butler is second fastest EIU career mark... time of 1:02.13 in 400m hurdles set at OVC championships is 3rd fastest EIU mark... picked up a second place finish in the 60 meter hurdles at the EIU Friday Night Indoor Special in lone Top 3 finish for the season... redshirted 2006 outdoor season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped for coaches Jermaine Ware and Martise Scott at University High in Normal, Ill., earning varsity letters in track and cheerleading… IHSA All-State in 4x100 and 4x200 relay as a freshman… All-State as a sophomore in 100 high hurdles… two-time state champion in 100 high hurdles as a junior and senior… team captain… team won 2005 IHSA State championship.
