EASTERN ILLINOIS:  Did not compete for cross country in 2006...competed in indoor and outdoor track seasons... scored points for the Panthers at the 2007 OVC Outdoor Championships in the 3,000 steeplechase... season best time in event was 9:44.91 at Vanderbilt.

 

 

High School: Prepped for coaches Lisa Wycoff and Steve Colintino at Rochester High School varsity letters in cross country, track and field and basketball… cross country team placed seventh at Illinois State Championships during senior year… qualified for all state track championships four times…

 

Personal: Majoring in computer information systems… son of Richard and Nancy Atkinson…  number one personal sports highlight was “finishing first and second with his brother at the track sectionals during his senior year to qualify for State championships.”
