BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Senior Bradley LaRocque has been named the adidas® Ohio Valley Conference men's cross country runner of the week following his performance in the season opening Walt Crawford EIU Open. LaRocque placed fourth out of 134 total runners covering the 8K distance with a time of 25:14.40, which was 22 seconds behind the winner. LaRocque's 8K time was the fastest time in the OVC so far this season.
EIU placed first in the 11 team field as the Panthers moved into the USTFCCCA Midwest Region rankings at No. 14 this week. The Panthers return to action on Friday at the Illinois Intercollegiate hosted by Illinois State.
