Cross Country Releases 2013 Schedule

CHARLESTON, Ill. – Eastern Illinois head cross country coach Erin Howarth has released the Panthers 2013 schedule opening with the EIU Walt Crawford Open at the EIU Panther Trail in Friday, Sept. 6. Last season the Panther men placed second at the OVC Championships while the women placed third, one season after winning the OVC title.
Following the season opening meet at home, EIU will travel on Sept. 13 to the Illinois Intercollegiate hosted by Illinois State. The Panthers return to the Notre Dame Blue/Gold Meet on Oct.4. The final regular season meet for the EIU cross country teams will be on Oct. 19 at the Pre-National Invitational hosted by Indiana State.
This year's OVC Championship meet will be held on Nov. 2 at Morehead State. The NCAA Midwest Regional will be held on Nov. 15 at Iowa State. The NCAA National Championships return to Terre Haute, Ind., this season on Nov. 23.
