Ramos Named OVC Female Runner Of The Week

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Eastern Illinois junior Erika Ramos was named the Ohio Valley Conference co-Female Cross Country Runner of the Week following her performance on Friday afternoon at the Bradley Classic.  Ramos set the school record in the 6K distance by placing 11th at the meet with a time of 21:47.28.

Ramos broke the mark previously held by Jordan Johnson at Hawkeye Invitational in 2003.  The Panthers will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 29 at the OVC Championships hosted by Eastern Kentucky.
