Men's Track Holds Steady In Regional Poll

The Panthers compete in the Midwest Region which includes NCAA Division I schools from the states of Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma and South Dakota.
Nebraska and Oklahoma flipped spots at the top of the regional poll this week with the Cornhuskers moving up to No.1 and Sooners dropping to No. 2. Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Wichita State, Iowa State, Kansas State, Eastern Illinois and Oral Roberts remained steady in spots two through ten. The final five schools ranked this week include Kansas which jumped from 15th to 11th, Northern Iowa, Missouri, South Dakota State and Oklahoma State.
The Panthers currently have three team members with marks ranking in the top 50 in the NCAA. Zye Boeyis ranked in two events as he is fourth nationally in the 200m and 24th in the 60m dash. Mick Viken is 30th in the pole vault and Tyler Carter is 43rd in the long jump.
