Hopkins Holds Day One Lead At Moore Multis

CHARLESTON, Ill. - Senior Sean Hopkins holds the day one lead in the decathlon at the Neil Moore Multi's as the Eastern Illinois athlete posted a five-event total of 3,425 points. 

Hopkins placed first in all five events held on Thursday at O'Brien Field competing against Ryan Rayekse of UW Milwaukee and Kendric Smith of Illinois State. 

On the women's side Moriah Myles of UW Milwaukee holds the day one lead in the heptathlon following completion of four events. Myles is competing against teammate Laura Hamel and Morgan Schaefer of Illinois State. Myles has 2,621 points. 

Competition continues on Friday morning.
